About Us

The Coquitlam Reds are one of the longest-standing premier youth baseball programs in British Columbia, with roots tracing back to the early 1970s. Originally succeeding the Coquitlam/Maillardville Athletics of the old Simon Fraser Connie Mack League, the Reds have become a respected and enduring presence in high-performance baseball development across the province.

In 1994, the organization expanded with the introduction of the "Redlegs"—a development-focused team for 15- and 16-year-old athletes—designed to prepare younger players for the challenges of elite competition. The Junior Reds program further supports this pathway, ensuring the continued strength and sustainability of the Reds’ tradition of excellence.

Our core mission is player development and promotion. The Reds offer a comprehensive, year-round program that includes Fall Ball, Winter and Pre-Season Training, a full Regular and Post Season schedule, and the opportunity to compete in elite tournaments throughout North America.

We are committed to the complete development of our athletes, both on and off the field. Understanding the importance of post-secondary recruitment, we prioritize academic success and guide our players to achieve in the classroom as well as on the diamond.

For over five decades, the Coquitlam Reds have upheld a proud legacy of excellence, competitiveness, and integrity. We continue to build on this foundation by developing the next generation of baseball talent and preparing them for future opportunities at the collegiate and professional levels.
